ATTORNEY BIOGRAPHY

Howard Tagg was born on September 6, 1967 in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1986, Mr. Tagg won the Alabama state high school debate championship and was awarded a full academic scholarship to the University of Alabama. As president of the University of Alabama debate team, he led the debate team during a period of unparalleled success, including a national debate championship and two southeastern regional championships. In 1989, Mr. Tagg attended Oxford University in Great Britain, where he studied medieval history before returning to the University of Alabama, where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1993.

Mr. Tagg has been licensed to practice law in Texas and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and since 1994.

Mr. Tagg is active in many civic and charitable organizations in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Tagg has served as President of the Tyler Junior Chamber of Commerce. In 2000, Mr. Tagg founded and was the first President of the Tyler Jaycees Foundation, Inc., a 501(c) non-profit organization which sponsors charitable causes in Smith County, Texas. Mr. Tagg is a graduate of Leadership Tyler and has served as the President of the Regional East Texas Food Bank, one of the largest charities in East Texas, and currently serves as President of the Regional East Texas Food Bank Foundation. In recognition of his service to the community, Mr. Tagg has been awarded the Earl Storey Award for Outstanding Service to the Community and the Arthur Leverett Award for Community Service. Mr. Tagg also serves as the Bishop's Warden at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Lindale, Texas.

Mr. Tagg is married to Jeanine Tagg, an instructor at Kilgore Junior College. Howard and Jeanine have two children, Elizabeth and William.
